What is Profhilo®?
The Profhilo® treatment offers a new approach to rejuvenating your skin by triggering a ‘bioremodelling’ response. This is a revolutionary new category of anti-ageing injectable treatments that should not be confused with dermal fillers, skin boosters or mesotherapy.

The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary 'beneath the skin' Hyaluronic acid (HA) moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology.
Profhilo® contains one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market and not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging skin tissue.
Profhilo® delivers great results as a treatment on its own or in combination with other aesthetics treatments.
How does Profhilo® work?
Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated and gradually disperses into the skin tissue. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo® stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore we cannot say that Profhilo® is a skin booster, as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.

Treatment Plan
During your consultation, you will be given detailed information about the procedure, the potential side effects and any pre- and post-treatment advice. You will also have time to decide whether or not, given the information, you would like to proceed with the treatment recommended.
A single course of Profhilo® involves two treatments four weeks apart. Profhilo® diffuses within the tissue and over the period of a month, it stimulates the different types of collagen and elastin to give your skin a firmer, smoother, plumper complexion. The full results are most commonly observed after the second treatment but subtle changes can be seen after the first treatment.
The treatment will most often last up to six months, but results can differ for each individual.
